Ruth Lyon has released her new single and video, ‘Caesar’. The track is one of the highlights of Lyon’s most recent album, and is a theatrical indie-folk cut that matches playfulness and bite into an anthem of revenge. The video is a suitably theatrical experience, channeling a Kate Bush-style wardrobe and movement style alongside a gritty shooting style and kaleidoscopic colour scheme. “I have felt a huge pressure in my life to be measured and stoic, not to affect anyone with my emotions, as if anger is reserved for others,” she explains. “But I now refute that and will allow myself to express how I feel with freedom.
